International Association of Movers (IAM) DP3 Research Assistant – Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the IAM DP3 Research Assistant (the “Assistant”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“TOS”) and all terms incorporated herein by reference. This Assistant is provided by the International Association of Movers (IAM). If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Assistant.
2. Description of Service
The Assistant is an artificial intelligence–powered conversational tool designed to provide informational support regarding the U.S. TRANSCOM Defense Personal Property Program (DP3). It generates responses based on a structured knowledge base and associated tools.
3. Accuracy and Limitation of Liability
The Assistant provides information based on the data available in its designated knowledge base.
a. Informational Use Only: All responses, information, or links provided by the Assistant are for informational purposes only. They do not constitute legal advice, regulatory guidance, financial counsel, or an endorsement of any individual, company, or service provider.
b. No Warranty of Accuracy: IAM makes no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any information provided by the Assistant. AI-generated responses, even when grounded in the knowledge base, may contain errors or omissions. You acknowledge that you use the Assistant at your own risk.
c. Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, IAM shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits or revenues arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Assistant or any information it
4. User Conduct and Input Data
- a. Prohibited Input:
- You agree not to input any of the following into the Assistant:
- Sensitive personal information (e.g., passwords, credit card numbers, medical information)
- Offensive, unlawful, or inappropriate content
- Federal Contract Information (FCI) or Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) as defined under the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC)
- You agree not to input any of the following into the Assistant:
- b. Data Use and Training: You acknowledge that IAM may store, process, and analyze your interactions, including questions, prompts, or feedback for internal purposes such as performance improvement, troubleshooting, auditing, and usage analytics.
This data will not be shared externally or used to train any public AI systems. IAM employs reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect stored data against unauthorized access or disclosure.
5. Termination
IAM reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to suspend or terminate your access to the Assistant at any time, without notice, for any reason or no reason, including without limitation, for breach of these TOS.
6. Governing Law
These TOS shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, USA, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located within Virginia to resolve any legal matter arising from these TOS.
7. Service Modifications and Availability
IAM reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Assistant, or any part thereof, at any time without notice. IAM is not liable for any interruption or loss of access, or for any modification that may affect functionality or availability.
