IAMTrusted+ | The New Standard In Consumer Trust
Elevating the ITMC Program through Verified Accountability
The ITMC+ designation is the industry’s response to the growing demand for transparency and accountability. It moves beyond membership status to provide a live, validated confirmation in real time of a mover’s jurisdictional authority and their commitment to fair dispute resolution.
The Pillars of ITMC+
This voluntary program available only to IAMTrusted Moving Companies is built on two non-negotiable standards that set your company apart to consumers through validation in the IAMX directory.
1. Verified Jurisdictional Compliance
While many programs rely on self-certification, ITMC+ utilizes the IAMX Validation Matrix to confirm you are legally authorized to operate in your chosen service scope.
- Local (Intrastate)
- National – Long Distance (Interstate)
- International
The system tracks specific licensing, insurance, and regulatory requirements by country and jurisdiction. By providing live links to government databases (such as the FMCSA in the US or the DVSA in the UK), and by verification of required documentation, your compliance is verified in real-time, not just once a year.
2. The Consumer Dispute Resolution System (CDRS)
Trust is built on how we handle things when they go wrong. ITMC+ members agree to a disciplined framework for settling consumer grievances.
- 30-Day Resolution: A strict timeline for providing a settlement offer or a formal response.
- Neutral Arbitration: Mandatory participation for disputes under US$10,000, ensuring consumers have a path to resolution without the need for litigation.
Integrated with IAMX
The validation process is managed entirely through your existing IAMX Company Profile.
Define Your Scope
You select the geographic regions and service levels you wish to feature. IAMX then generates a custom checklist specific to those jurisdictions. IAMX works with you to document our compliance to the customized checklist. Once the validation checklist is complete, your ITMC+ application is ready for approval.
Appoint a Compliance Officer
To ensure data integrity, each ITMC+ company must designate a Compliance Officer within their IAMX Company Profile. This individual serves as the primary point of contact for document updates and expiration alerts, ensuring your status never lapses. They also serve as the primary contact for the Consumer Dispute Resolution System.
Why Join ITMC+?
- Distinction: Stand out in search results on the IAM Portal.
- Risk Mitigation: Use the CDRS to manage consumer expectations and avoid protracted legal battles.
