The IAM Issue Resolution System

Already familiar with the IAM Issue Resolution System?

You must be signed in to IAM Mobility Exchange (IAMX) as an Admin for your company in order to access your IIRS Dashboard. If you have forgotten your IAMX Password, you can reset it: Password Reset. If you need to request an Admin Password, please contact support@mobilityex.com.

At the IIRS Dashboard, you can initiate the filing of an issue and manage any existing issues that you have filed or have been filed against your company here. There is a free course at IAM Learning to help you in filing or responding to an issue: IAM Issue Resolution System Course.

What Are Trade Issues?

Any alleged disagreement or failure to abide by accepted standards of conduct between two IAM Member companies

There are several types of trade issues IAM sees between Member Companies:

IAM Code of Ethics Complaint

Unpaid Invoice(s)

Operational Dispute

Misuse of IAM Name or Trademark

Why is this needed?

Member Companies rely on IAM to provide them with tools to make business easier. Trade issues cause significant friction for members and limit energy that could be directed toward optimizing their business.

The IAM Issue Resolution System is also a foundational component of the IAMTrusted Moving Company (“ITMC”)program, which sets a higher standard for movers worldwide. Learn more about the IAMTrusted Moving Company program.

How Does it work?

Learn More About How the Issue Resolution System Works – There is a free, step by step course at IAM Learning: IAM Issue Resolution System Course.

Initiate the process

The IAM Issue Resolution System (“IIRS”) allows a frustrated IAM Member Company to register the details of their situation in the IIRS. You will have the option to report the issue without alerting the party you are filing against. This will reserve your rights for timely reporting under the Receivable Protection Program (RPP) without alerting the party that you have filed against them. If you choose to notify the party you are filing against, these steps will follow.

Notification & Acknowledgement

Once your issue has been submitted for resolution, IAM staff will review the issue and categorize it. A notification will be sent to the party you have filed against alerting them to the issue. All IAM Members are encouraged to “Acknowledge” receipt of the issue within the IIRS within 10 days. An IAMTrusted Moving Company is required to acknowledge receipt of the issue within 10 days. Failure to do is a breach of the IAMTrusted Moving Company Agreement causing an automatic loss of ITMC status for the company.

30 Day Member to Member Resolution

The two parties will now have a 30-day period from the date of issue classification to resolve the issue amicably between themselves without outside intervention. Once the issue is resolved, the issue filing party must confirm the resolution in the IIRS.

Unresolved Issues after 30 days

If the issue remains unresolved after 30 days, the issue filing company may choose to escalate the issue in the IIRS system. IAM staff will review the case for determination. All IAM Members are encouraged to accept the determinations issued according to the RPP Operating Rules and Regulations, or the IAM Procedures for Dispute Resolution and Ethics Enforcement as final and take the actions necessary to resolve the issue. An IAMTrusted Moving Company is required to accept the determinations issued by the IAM as binding and is required to take the timely actions stipulated. Failure to do so will be a breach of the IAMTrusted Moving Company Agreement causing an automatic and immediate loss of ITMC status for the company.
